The National Pharmacogenomics Group for Wales (NPGG) are inviting NHS prescribers to join a short, interactive webinar hosted by Dr Sophie Harding, Consultant Pharmacist for Genomics & Pharmacogenomics for Wales.
Pharmacogenomics — the study of how genetic variations influence response to medicines — has the potential to transform healthcare delivery across Wales. By enabling more personalised treatments, pharmacogenomics can help improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of adverse drug reactions.
These sessions will:
- Provide an update on the Pharmacogenomics Delivery Plan for Wales
- Give you the chance to contribute directly to its development
- Ensure the plan supports real-world prescribing needs and priorities
