Our Public Genomics Cafes are coming to Cardiff on Thursday 21st September!

Join us at Chapter Arts Centre for our first hybrid Genomics Café with Wales Gene Park! 

The cafe will feature relaxed talks from guest speakers on:

· Can your IL-6R gene influence your exercise choices? Dr Richard Webb, Cardiff Metropolitan University

· From silence to sound: Finding my voice as a Rare Disease patient Melissa Martin, Cardiff University

· Update from SWAN (UK) Cymru Amanda Thomas, SWAN (UK) Cymru

The Café will be an informal opportunity to meet others and find out about new advances in the area of genomic medicine in Wales. It will also be a chance for people to come together, be supported by others in their communities and let us know how we can better support those affected by rare or genetic conditions.
